The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sadlovsky lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sadlovsky moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Thrana throws a right hand that Sadlovsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Sadlovsky also avoids with ease.
Sadlovsky lands a head kick!
It looks like Dani Thrana has been cut.
Sadlovsky thumps Thrana with a low kick.
Sadlovsky buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sadlovsky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thrana steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sadlovsky. That one must have hurt.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Sadlovsky.

Sadlovsky connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Thrana to the floor! Sadlovsky dives in looking for the finish!

Sadlovsky seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Thrana seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Thrana is looking for a sweep. Sadlovsky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sadlovsky with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
