The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booth throws a right hand that Pogu ducks under and follows up with a left that Pogu also avoids with ease.
Booth keeps the fight on the outside.
Pogu moves in looking to clinch but Booth pushes him off.
Booth attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pogu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pogu clinches.
Booth gets underhooks to prevent Pogu's takedown attempt.
Pogu scores a nice knee to the body.
Pogu fails to pull guard.
Pogu wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Pogu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pogu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Booth avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pogu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kimbo Pogu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pogu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pogu throws a head kick that Booth semi-blocks.

Pogu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Booth, pushing him back against the cage.

Pogu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Booth has had enough of the clinch but Pogu keeps him there for the moment.
Pogu unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Pogu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Booth just stands there and leans against the cage.
Booth fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Pogu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pogu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Booth fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Booth throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Pogu stumbling backwards into the cage! Pogu bounces back off the cage towards Booth, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Booth lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Booth celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
