Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Carwin!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin slips under a jab from Warburton.
Warburton avoids the head kick by Carwin.
Carwin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mark Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warburton wants to clinch up but Carwin keeps it at a distance.
Carwin moves out of range of the strikes.
Carwin feints and then cracks Warburton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Warburton down.
Carwin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Warburton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Carwin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Carwin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Warburton trying desperately to get to his feet.
Carwin wants to stand but Warburton is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warburton is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Carwin trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Warburton can't escape the position.
Carwin wants to control the pace but Warburton is squirming around nicely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carwin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Carwin trying to control but Warburton is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carwin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Warburton kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Carwin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Warburton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Warburton is breathing heavily.

Carwin trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Carwin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Warburton misses with a leg kick

and Carwin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Warburton!
Carwin looking to ground and pound but Warburton is blocking nicely.
Carwin is landing with some decent strikes but Warburton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Warburton is in a horrible position here. Carwin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Warburton wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Warburton covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Carwin's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Warburton is in bad spot here.
Warburton is working hard here to advance position.
Warburton is keeping busy.
Carwin is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Warburton up.
Warburton is really stuck here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Carwin dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Carwin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Warburton as he jumps to the side.
A nice combination there by Warburton.
Warburton throws a sloppy head kick

and Carwin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Warburton!
Warburton is trying to escape the mount.
Carwin controlling the position easily from mount.
Carwin cracks Warburton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Carwin in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carwin is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Warburton is forced to tap! Great finish!
