The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighta rushes Richards and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fighta throws a combination that misses
and Richards connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Richards gets caught flat footed, as Fighta shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fighta gets to his feet - Richards follows without any prompting.

and Fighta counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fighta.

Fighta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Richards connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Fighta tumbling to the canvas! Richards pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Fighta was done - good stoppage!
