Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Treetops (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Kiely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiely keeps the fight on the outside.
Treetops lands a big head kick that sends Kiely tumbling to the mat! Treetops takes a step backwards and waves Kiely back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Eddie Kiely has been cut.
Kiely fails in his attempt to clinch.
Treetops shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kiely sprawls well. Kiely wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Treetops gets slowly back to his feet.
Kiely gets a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Treetops wants to control but Kiely is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Treetops rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kiely moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Treetops throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kiely fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Treetops sprawls well initially but Kiely persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kiely looks gassed!
Kiely lands strikes from half guard.

Kiely is trying to control. Treetops wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kiely wants to lay and pray for a moment but Treetops keeps working.
Treetops looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kiely seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Treetops does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Treetops doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kiely counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Treetops keeping moving, preventing Kiely from controlling successfully.
Treetops wants to stand but Kiely is controlling the position.
Kiely working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Treetops's head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Treetops moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Treetops is trying to trip Kiely. He has hold of a leg but Kiely is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Treetops persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Treetops wants to stand but Kiely is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kiely has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Treetops knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kiely on the ground.
Treetops is sitting in close to Kiely's body. Kiely has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Treetops is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Treetops is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kiely.
