Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Antonio Nogueria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bernd Bransch!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bransch leaves Nogueria with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bransch swats away the attempt to clinch by Nogueria.
Nice sprawl there from Bransch as Nogueria shoots in.
Nogueria shoots in but Bransch avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bransch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nogueria lands a nice short elbow.

Nogueria wants to work for an arm triangle but Bransch is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bransch shoots in for a takedown but Nogueria shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nogueria fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bransch sprawls well initially but Nogueria persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nogueria shoots in looking for a takedown. Bransch tries to sprawl out of it but Nogueria keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bransch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nogueria shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bransch as he avoids it easily.

Bransch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nogueria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bransch is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nogueria bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bransch's guard.

Nogueria gets to his feet. Bransch looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nogueria uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bransch slips a jab and a cross from Nogueria.
Nogueria dives in and grabs Bransch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bransch pushes down on Nogueria's head and hops out.
Bransch throws a head kick but Nogueria moves out of range.

Bransch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nogueria lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bransch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bransch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
