Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Pointek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pointek has chosen Sevendust - Enemy as his entrance music. Mike Pointek is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pointek looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jenkins takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Pointek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pointek had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jenkins is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pointek Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jenkins's back instead.

Jenkins is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pointek gets his way!
