The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levesque tries to clinch up but Van Staaden circles away and keeps his distance.
Levesque pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Van Staaden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Levesque manages to avoid it.

Levesque throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
