Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Zarubaylo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altus Lehnberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lehnberg has chosen Waters Of Nazareth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nikolay Zarubaylo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarubaylo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lehnberg pinned against the cage. Lehnberg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lehnberg looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Zarubaylo lands with a nice body kick.
Lehnberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lehnberg wants to clinch.
Zarubaylo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lehnberg.
Zarubaylo scoring well with a low kick there.
Zarubaylo getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Zarubaylo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lehnberg moves away.
Zarubaylo jabs Lehnberg right on the nose. Lehnberg blinks but takes it well.
Lehnberg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lehnberg checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Lehnberg moves into the clinch.
Lehnberg tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lehnberg is pressed up against the cage. Zarubaylo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lehnberg down to the mat. Lehnberg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Zarubaylo gets a takedown into half guard.

Zarubaylo wants to take a breather but Lehnberg is having none of it.

Lehnberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zarubaylo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zarubaylo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lehnberg's waist but Lehnberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zarubaylo off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikolay Zarubaylo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Zarubaylo counters with a body kick that stops Lehnberg in his tracks momentarily.
Lehnberg tries a head kick but it misses.

Lehnberg lands with a nice combination. Zarubaylo backs away looking to recover.

and Lehnberg cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zarubaylo throws a sloppy head kick and Lehnberg moves out of range easily.

Lehnberg shoots in but Zarubaylo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Zarubaylo counters with a body kick that stops Lehnberg in his tracks momentarily.
Lehnberg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Lehnberg is working for a guillotine from mount but Zarubaylo frees his head quite easily.

Zarubaylo is trying desperately to improve position.
Zarubaylo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zarubaylo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Zarubaylo throws a strike aimed at the side of Lehnberg's head but Lehnberg avoids it well.
Zarubaylo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lehnberg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Zarubaylo's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Zarubaylo! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Lehnberg has tapped! This one is allllll over!
