Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommie Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by The Bull - Massacrtion. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Karlsson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Johnson has picked Karlsson up and slammed him! Karlsson can't keep hold of the triangle and Johnson manages to pass to side control!
Karlsson is trying to improve his position.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Karlsson looking for a sweep but Johnson has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Karlsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson is working for a guillotine from mount but Karlsson frees his head quite easily.
Karlsson is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea.
Karlsson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Johnson blocks Karlsson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karlsson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Johnson has taken his back.

Karlsson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Johnson gets his way!
Karlsson turns into Johnson and is now in his guard.
