Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Alarcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franko Mia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mia has chosen . as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alarcon.
Alarcon lands with an uppercut that bounces Mia off the cage and back into rage.
Mia avoids the head kick by Alarcon.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alarcon - the referee stops the clock and Mia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alarcon. Mia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Alarcon lands a big head kick that sends Mia tumbling to the mat! Alarcon takes a step backwards and waves Mia back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alarcon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alarcon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mia takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oscar Alarcon.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alarcon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
