The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arellanes has a takedown stuffed.

Gibson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gibson fails to land with a series of punches.
Arellanes shoots in for a takedown but Gibson shows good takedown defense.
Arellanes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gibson but Gibson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gibson lands a nice shot that snaps Arellanes's head back.
Gibson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Gibson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gibson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gibson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Arellanes crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
