Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ian Saga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fran Einhorn!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saga throws a series of strikes that have Einhorn backpedaling.
Einhorn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Saga buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Einhorn wants to clinch up but Saga keeps it at a distance.
Saga moves into range and connects with a jab.
Einhorn takes a jab right on the kisser.
Einhorn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fight stays on the outside here - Einhorn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Saga lands a front kick.
Einhorn wants to clinch.
Saga works over Einhorn's head and body with a nice combination.
Saga throws a half hearted mid kick.
Einhorn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Saga throws a combination. Einhorn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Saga pivots, looking for a leg kick but Einhorn is out of range and Saga settles back down.
Saga swats away the attempt to clinch by Einhorn.
Good leg kick by Saga there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Saga moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ian Saga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Saga.
Saga jabs at Einhorn's body.
Einhorn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Saga blocks a head kick by Einhorn.
Einhorn is looking to clinch.
Saga throws a sloppy head kick and Einhorn moves out of range easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Saga - that will leave a mark!
Einhorn is looking to clinch.
Saga lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Einhorn blocks a head kick by Saga.
Saga jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Saga connects with a right hand. Einhorn shakes it off.
Einhorn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Einhorn takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Einhorn counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Saga has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Einhorn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Saga tries to pull guard but Einhorn won't allow it.

Saga working hard to break the clinch.
Saga just leaning against Einhorn, taking a breather.
Einhorn tries to land a knee to the head but Saga blocks with his arms.
Einhorn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Saga is trying to drag Einhorn to the mat but Einhorn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Saga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Einhorn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Saga lands with a nice body punch.
Saga really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Saga misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Saga swats away the attempt to clinch by Einhorn.
Saga throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saga lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Einhorn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Einhorn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Einhorn wants to clinch up but Saga keeps it at a distance.
Einhorn blocks a head kick by Saga.

Einhorn takes one to the side of the head.
Saga throws a series of strikes that have Einhorn backpedaling.
A left lands for Saga.
Saga works over Einhorn's head and body with a nice combination.
Einhorn throws a head kick that misses.
Saga cracks Einhorn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Saga lands a jab-cross combination.


Einhorn is rocked!
Saga circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Einhorn drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Saga follows Einhorn to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian Saga!
