Brunswick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Your Face = Mine now. Sir Brunswick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sir Brunswick!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lands a nice hook to Brunswick's body. Brunswick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Diaz scores with a hook.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brunswick moves away.
Brunswick drops his hands momentarily and Diaz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Brunswick - that will leave a mark!
Diaz misses with a wild body shot.
Brunswick throws and low kick but Diaz moves out of range easily.
Brunswick throws an overhand right that lands on Diaz's shoulder, as Diaz tries to avoid the shot.
Brunswick fails to land with a series of punches.
Diaz punishes Brunswick's body with a nice straight punch.
Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brunswick manages to avoid it.
Diaz misses with a looping left.
Diaz throws a body punch but Brunswick moves out of range.
Brunswick lands with a thumping leg kick.

Brunswick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brunswick looking for a sweep. Not yet Brunswick, not yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Brunswick keeps moving.

Brunswick wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brunswick can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diaz wants to control from the top but Brunswick keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brunswick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Brunswick bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaz's head backwards.
Brunswick looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Brunswick throws a leg kick but Diaz moved away.
Brunswick throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Brunswick.
Brunswick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Diaz takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Brunswick scores with a head kick.
Brunswick is looking to score with low kicks.
Brunswick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Diaz walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brunswick.
Brunswick throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Diaz.
Brunswick throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brunswick at a distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Some wild striking there from Diaz.
Sir Brunswick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brunswick throws a low kick, looking for Diaz's leg but Diaz calmly moves out of range.
Diaz misses with an uppercut. Brunswick saw that one coming.
A solid body kick from Brunswick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sir Brunswick dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brunswick.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Brunswick looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sir Brunswick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Some wild striking there from Diaz.
A solid body kick from Brunswick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brunswick! Diaz is out on his feet! Brunswick rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Diaz is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Diaz is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sir Brunswick!
