The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linos fails to land the takedown.
Linos misses the jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Solstice crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Linos - the referee stops the clock and Solstice gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Linos. Solstice manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Linos shoots in but no luck this time.
Solstice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Linos as Solstice shoots in.

Linos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mout straight away.
Solstice prevents Linos from taking his back.
Linos looks gassed!
Solstice is looking to get to half guard.

Linos looking for a guillotine from mount but Solstice is having none of it.
Linos wants to control the pace but Solstice is squirming around nicely.

Linos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Solstice trying to control but Linos postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Linos takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Linos wants to control but Solstice is keeping him busy.

Linos goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Solstice does a handstand and catches Linos in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Solstice on top - Linos is already out from the submission! Solstice gives Linos's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
