Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Jones!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from King.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A jab from King does it's job there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones blocks a jab.

Some wild striking there from King.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing.
Jonah King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Jones.

Jones dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
King throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

King throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

King misses with a straight left.
Nice shot by King.
King lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

King throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
King fails to land with a series of punches.
King slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.

King looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nice uppercut there from King.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fighters circle momentarily. King darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but King circles away.
King misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.

King misses with a looping left.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jonah King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Jones.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Jones on that attempt.

King stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
A right-left combo lands from King.

King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones slips a jab from King.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A left and a right from King both land. Nice combination.

Jonah King showed his dominance in that final round.
Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
