Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter orbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter orbach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

orbach scores a takedown into full mount!
Coleman is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
orbach in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Coleman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Coleman looks like he's trying to stand up.
orbach throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

orbach tries to lock up and control but Coleman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
orbach reaches up to try and control the position but Coleman seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! orbach rolls and tries to escape and now Coleman has his back!
orbach breaks Coleman's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
orbach throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

orbach looks to move to half guard but instead Coleman has passed into mount! Damn!

Coleman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so orbach is just riding it out for now. Coleman eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
orbach takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and orbach counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Coleman's guard now.
Coleman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

orbach decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Coleman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
orbach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and orbach counters with a nice double leg into side control. Coleman won't be happy with that.

Coleman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
orbach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground.

Coleman lands with a kick to the temple. orbach shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
orbach misses with a series of wild punches.

Peter orbach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Coleman.

orbach throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
orbach is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Coleman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

orbach is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Coleman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Coleman manages to capitalize on a mistake by orbach to take his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coleman is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. orbach knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften orbach for a finish.

You can see the frustration on orbach's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Alex Coleman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coleman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
