Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cordoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordoba comes to the cage accompanied by English Fire by CoF. Hogan has chosen The real American as his entrance music. The key to victory for Alex Cordoba has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan slips a straight right by Cordoba.
Cordoba swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cordoba connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Hogan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cordoba.
Hogan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hogan wants to control for a moment but Cordoba uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Cordoba prevents Hogan from improving his position.

It looks like Cordoba is going to stand back up.
Hogan is looking for a sweep. Cordoba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cordoba seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Cordoba tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's time! Cordoba's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hogan fails with the takedown.
Hogan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cordoba circles away.
Hogan misses with a kick to the body.
Alex Cordoba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cordoba keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Alex Cordoba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hulk Hogan.
Nice sprawl there from Cordoba as Hogan shoots in.
Hogan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cordoba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hogan somewhat.
Hogan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hogan showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cordoba is not content to let Hogan control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hogan is keen to just control but Cordoba is a slippery customer.
Hogan is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Cordoba reverses the position - he's now on top in Hogan's guard.

Hogan is trying to control the position but Cordoba postures up.
Hogan is looking to sweep but instead, Cordoba has passed into half guard.
Cordoba gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cordoba misses with an uppercut.
Cordoba throws a hook but Hogan blocks it.
Alex Cordoba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hogan looks for the body kick but Cordoba saw that one coming.
Cordoba lands a left and a right that send Hogan crashing to the mat, dazed. Cordoba thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hogan is rocked!
Cordoba stuffs the takedown.
Hogan ducks under a wild hook from Cordoba.
Cordoba throws a hook but Hogan blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Cordoba throws a series of punches but Hogan avoids them all with ease.
Hogan seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Cordoba shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hogan is backing up but Cordoba catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hogan covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Cordoba Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Cordoba!
