The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hawk moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Hawk throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Couture looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hawk!
Hawk is working to get back to half guard.

Hawk is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Couture knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawk on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Ran D Couture will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Couture closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Couture pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Couture has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Couture there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hawk lands a two punch combo.
Couture thows a body shot but no joy.

Hawk moves away from the strike by Couture.
Couture looks to throw the jab but Hawk is out of range.
Hawk attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hawk throws a low kick but it's checked well by Couture.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hawk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Couture circles away quickly and effectively.

Couture drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hawk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Couture is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hawk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Couture's back instead.

Couture manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Hawk is now in side control.
Couture manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Couture is positioning himself well to prevent Hawk advancing to mount.
Hawk thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Couture to regain full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lincoln Hawk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Couture.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Couture moves out of range of the leg kick from Hawk.

Hawk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hawk throws a low kick, looking for Couture's leg but Couture calmly moves out of range.

Couture dodges the punch combination from Hawk.
Hawk tries to land a leg kick but Couture saw it coming and moves away.
Hawk misses with a double jab.
Hawk tries to work over Couture's front leg with a kick but Couture checks it.

Couture slips a straight right by Hawk.
Couture fails with a takedown attempt.
Couture throws a hook but Hawk avoids it easily.

Couture swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Couture misses its intended target.
Hawk throws a right and a left that Couture avoids nicely.
Couture takes one to the chin there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Couture has a takedown stuffed.

Lincoln Hawk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hawk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
