The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Daud showed some decent athleticism there.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Durden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daud is working away from the top position though.
Daud wants to control but Durden is keeping him busy.

Durden looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Daud frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden is looking to get to half guard.

Daud avoids the attempt from Durden to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daud takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Durden tries to control Daud's body but Daud pushes him off. Durden squirms to his side and now Daud has his back!
Durden tries to roll but Daud sticks to his back.

Daud has the hooks in. Durden is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Daud passes his arm under Durden's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Durden taps!
