Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Daloski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daloski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chip Diddy Chip. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Landon Daloski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David forces Daloski back against the cage and clinches.
David tries to break free but Daloski pushes him back against the cage.
Daloski is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Daloski fails to pull guard.

Daloski pulls guard.
David wants to pass the guard but Daloski is keeping the position.
David not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
David trying to control but Daloski is working from the bottom.
Daloski looking for a sweep. Not yet Daloski, not yet.
Daloski throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
David will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
David stands up over Daloski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
David postures up in Daloski's guard and throws a big left but Daloski blocks it.
David wants to pass the guard but Daloski is keeping the position.

David trying to control but Daloski is working from the bottom.
Daloski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
David has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daloski is proving hard to escape from.
David trying to control the position from guard on top but Daloski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
David slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Daloski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Daloski looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Daloski feints and as David raises his hands in defense, Daloski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
David pulls Daloski in close to prevent any damage.

David wants to stand up but Daloski is controlling him.

Daloski drops back, looking for a kneebar! David looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. David looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from David!
David in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
David is looking to take a break and control but Daloski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The strikes coming from David are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

David has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
David is breathing heavily.

Daloski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Daloski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Daloski landing strikes from the mount and David is in trouble!
Daloski looking to control but David is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
David is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daloski wants to control the pace but David is squirming around nicely.

Daloski jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… David is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by David and Daloski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
David pushes Daloski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Daloski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Daloski goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, David rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Daloski's guard! Nice work there by David!
David content to stall in guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexander David will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Daloski blocks a head kick by David.
Daloski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
David throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daloski.
Horrible takedown by Daloski or perhaps it was just good defense by David which made him look bad.
Alexander David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daloski connects with a high kick.
Daloski shoots in but David avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by David.
David landing strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
David advances nicely into full mount.

David with shots to the head and body - Daloski looks very uncomfortable down there.
David looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Daloski is trying desperately to improve position.
David controlling the position easily from mount.

David is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Daloski has managed to escape the submission attempt.
David trying to control but Daloski is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daloski working to try and regain half guard.
BOOM! David connects with a massive shot to the dome!
David lands a big shot there that rocks Daloski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
David prevents Daloski from getting the reversal.
Daloski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Daloski is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daloski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
David throwing shots but Daloski is blocking nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Daloski manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

David stands up and waves to Daloski to follow him.

Daloski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
David's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Daloski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
David wants to control but Daloski is having none of it.
Daloski scoring with strikes but David is staying in there.

Alexander David dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



David shoots in and bounces Daloski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with David in particular looking to stall.
David is looking to advance position but Daloski won't allow it.
It looks like David is going to stand back up.
David not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Daloski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
David is thwarting Daloski's attempts to control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Daloski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
David won't allow Daloski to pass to mount.

David looks like he's trying to stand up.

David is not content to let Daloski control the position.
Daloski wants to free his trapped foot but David is holding on for dear life with his legs.
David is refusing to be controlled, as Daloski sits in half guard.

David is looking to escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
David lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daloski circles away quickly and effectively.

Daloski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

David kicks Daloski off and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Daloski instigates a clinch.

David manages to break the clinch.
Daloski checks a low kick from David.
David moves forwards but Daloski connects with a nice, crisp jab.
David blocks a head kick by Daloski.
Daloski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and David makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A head kick from David lands but Daloski takes it in his stride.
Alexander David is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

David rushes Daloski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
David is looking to break free of the clinch but Daloski has double underhooks.
Daloski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. David gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

David escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Landon Daloski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Alexander David is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
David fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander David.
Well David has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
