The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

attax looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
ADAMS won't allow attax to pass to mount.
ADAMS flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

ADAMS looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
ADAMS is looking to control attax's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can ADAMS avoid being mounted?
ADAMS is looking for a sweep. attax is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ADAMS is working hard here to advance position.
attax seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but ADAMS does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

ADAMS controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
ADAMS loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
ADAMS trying to control but attax is working from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
ADAMS wants to clinch
and attax counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
ADAMS misses with a takedown attempt

and attax holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
ADAMS is breathing heavily.

ADAMS ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. ADAMS no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
ADAMS is looking to sweep but instead, attax has passed into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

ADAMS is looking to sinch up a triangle. attax throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to ADAMS's body to avoid the submission. ADAMS has instead reached around attax's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! ADAMS arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
