The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lyle is trying to stand.
Lyle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cole not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lyle is looking to improve his position.

Lyle regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lyle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cole was well out of range. Poor timing from Lyle.

Cole lands a big shot there that rocks Lyle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

A big strike lands for Cole! That's really hurt Lyle and he's turned his back - Cole keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Cole Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
