PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Hard-Rihanna. Donnie Fisher told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donnie Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher moves out of range as Tyson throws a body kick.
Tyson tries a low kick but Fisher avoids it.
Fisher throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tyson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A slow jab from Fisher misses its intended target.
Fisher throws a shot from downtown. Tyson moves away and avoids it.
Tyson feints and then cracks Fisher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fisher down.
Fisher blocks the body kick.
A swing and a miss from Fisher.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fisher getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fisher wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fisher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tyson.
Tyson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fisher will feel that in the morning.

Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fisher.
Donnie Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fisher misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tyson.
Tyson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fisher.
Tyson tries to bum rush Fisher with a series of wild strikes but Fisher uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tyson lands a front kick.
Fisher looks gassed!
Tyson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fisher's head.
Tyson scores with a leg kick.

Tyson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Fisher misses with a straight right.
Tyson delivers a nice body kick.
Fisher takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.

Tyson lands a big head kick that sends Fisher tumbling to the mat! Tyson takes a step backwards and waves Fisher back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fisher is rocked!
Tyson throws a quick head kick that knocks Fisher silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Tyson is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
