Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots for a double leg takedown but Onakea sprawls well. He's pushed Fisher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Onakea throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Onakea misses with a wild body shot.
Onakea misses the jab.
Onakea takes a swing at Fisher's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fisher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fisher lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Fisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Onakea tries to get to full guard but Fisher has control of the leg.

Fisher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Onakea wants to get back to his feet.

Onakea is defending against the submission attempts here by Fisher.
Fisher is looking to take a break and control but Onakea is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fisher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Onakea pinned against the cage. Onakea gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Fisher counters with a shoot takedown. Onakea fights it but they end up in guard.

Onakea rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fisher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Luke Fisher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Onakea looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
