Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Townsend has chosen Out of my Way by Seether as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Townsend shoots in and drives through. Fresh sprawls well.
Fresh stuffs the takedown attempt from Townsend. Townsend gets slowly back to his feet.
Fresh gets a clinch.

Fresh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Townsend tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fresh smiles and moves away.

Townsend seems to have recovered his senses.
Townsend changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fresh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Townsend working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Fresh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Fresh content to control rather than advance.

Fresh winds up and cracks Townsend with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fresh trying to control from half guard but Townsend is working away.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fresh connects with a nice short shot to Townsend's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fresh is keen to just control but Townsend is a slippery customer.
Townsend regains full guard. Nicely done.
Fresh stays in close to Townsend's body and controls the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Townsend is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Townsend drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Townsend jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Townsend passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Townsend tries for a kimura but Fresh is defending well.

Townsend is working for a rear naked choke. Fresh is not defending it well and Townsend has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Fresh refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Fresh's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kenneth Townsend!
