Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladameir Fermazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damien James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladameir Fermazi!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to clinch there but Fermazi circles away.
James misses with a low kick.
James goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
James has a takedown stuffed.
James attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Fermazi as James shoots in.

James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fermazi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fermazi is trying to get back to his feet.
Fermazi is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.

James is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fermazi has escaped the position, nice work there.
James creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fermazi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Fermazi parries the strikes from James easily there. James is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fermazi to escape.
James in side control, throwing shots but Fermazi defends.

Fermazi is not content to let James control the position.
Fermazi is trying to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fermazi circles away from the clinch attempt.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fermazi checks a leg kick.
James connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fermazi tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fermazi to the ground. Fermazi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fermazi misses with a low kick.
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Fermazi sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fermazi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Fermazi counters with a nice leg kick.

James doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fermazi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
James is breathing heavily.

and Fermazi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

James chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fermazi can pounce on him.
Fermazi lands a nice looking kick to the body. James takes a step back to recover.
Fermazi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt James.

James misses with a takedown
and Fermazi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fermazi pushes James away with a front kick.
Fermazi throws a chopping leg kick but James manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fermazi fakes the leg kick and cracks James in the body.
Fermazi connects with a solid leg kick.
Fermazi thows a body shot but no joy.
James doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fermazi counters with a leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Fermazi.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fermazi. That's going to slow James down.
Fermazi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on James if he has to take too many more of those.
Fermazi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to James's calf.

Fermazi tries a head kick but it misses.
James throws a leg kick
and Fermazi counters with a good low kick that James was not able to check.
Fermazi looks for the body kick but James saw that one coming.
Fermazi throws a body kick that misses.
James fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fermazi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
James moves out of range of the body kick from Fermazi.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Fermazi counters with a nice body kick.
Fermazi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to James's calf.
Fermazi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vladameir Fermazi dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fermazi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fermazi wants it to stay on the feet.
James has his takedown stuffed
and Fermazi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Fermazi thuds his shin into the meat of James's side.
Fermazi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fermazi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vladameir Fermazi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fermazi lands the left hand.
James fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Damien James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters circling a little - Fermazi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Fermazi throws an absolute beast of a head kick! James is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
