And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namaste dodges the punch combination from Rubin.
Rubin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Namaste slips under a jab from Rubin.
Rubin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Namaste moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Namaste misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rubin.
Rubin misses with a wild combination.
Rubin throws a series of punches but Namaste avoids them all with ease.
Rubin misses with a looping left.
Rubin looks to land a combination but Namaste avoids it well.
Namaste avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rubin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Namaste looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Namaste trying to control the action but Rubin is working from the bottom.
Rubin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Namaste tries to pass to full mount but Rubin defends it.
Namaste working over Rubin with some ground and pound. Rubin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Namaste is keen to just control but Rubin is a slippery customer.
Namaste is trying a forearm choke
I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Namaste wants to pass to mount but Rubin is defending the position.
Namaste looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rubin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Namaste pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Namaste controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Namaste moves nicely into side control.
Rubin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Namaste's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Namaste wants to control but Rubin is keeping him busy.
Rubin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Rubin is defending against the submission attempts here by Namaste.
Rubin flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Namaste passes the guard and advances to mount!
Namaste working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Rubin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Namaste off and cradles Rubin's limp body as Namaste celebrates with his corner.
