The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey shoots in and drives through. Piotrowski sprawls well.
Grey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Grey is looking to clinch but Piotrowski is avoiding it.

Grey gets caught flat footed, as Piotrowski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Piotrowski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
I looks like Piotrowski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Piotrowski wants to pass the guard but Grey is keeping the position.

Grey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Piotrowski won't allow Grey to sweep him here.

Piotrowski stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Piotrowski throws a right hand that Grey ducks under and follows up with a left that Grey also avoids with ease.
A head kick misses from Piotrowski.

Piotrowski moves into the clinch successfully.
Piotrowski is pressed up against the cage. Grey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Piotrowski down to the mat. Piotrowski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Grey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grey wants to clinch up but Piotrowski keeps it at a distance.

and Piotrowski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grey won't be happy with that.

Piotrowski stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Piotrowski is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Piotrowski extends the arm and Grey is forced to tap!
