The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Austin. No joy for silva on that attempt.
silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Horrible takedown by silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Austin which made him look bad.

Austin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!

silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Austin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Austin's face.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Austin will probably get the nod.
