Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Javier Alejara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Brother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alejara's entrance music is I´m in Miami Bitch. A fine choice. Brother has chosen Slash & Myless Kennedy ~ Back From Cali as his entrance music. The key to victory for Javier Alejara has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alejara tries to clinch up.

so Alejara counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brother will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Alejara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brother had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alejara is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brother Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alejara's back instead.
Alejara is trying to get back to his feet but Brother has full control of the position and if anything, Alejara has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brother is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alejara is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alejara has escaped and now he's on top!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Javier Alejara.
Well Alejara has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
