Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felix Gaeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaeta comes into the arena with B.Y.O.B. blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaeta looks to land a left hand but Santiago moved out of range nicely.
Santiago throws a looping overhand right but Gaeta ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Santiago throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gaeta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gaeta is looking to clinch but Santiago is avoiding it.
Santiago throws a hook but Gaeta blocks it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gaeta slips a straight right by Santiago.
Santiago takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Gaeta moves into the clinch successfully.
Santiago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gaeta jumps guard but Santiago stands there with Gaeta around his waist. Gaeta gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gaeta is trying to trip Santiago. He has hold of a leg but Santiago is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gaeta persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gaeta throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Santiago manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Santiago shoots in but no luck this time.

Santiago scores with a takedown into Gaeta's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Santiago wants to stand but Gaeta has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Santiago is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gaeta has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Santiago is looking to defend but Gaeta has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Santiago! Gaeta pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Santiago taps out and this one is all over!
