The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kiely is fending him off so far but Torres persists. Nope, Kiely circles away and we're back to standing.

Kiely stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kiely goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Torres has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kiely but great work by Torres.
Torres grinds an elbow into Kiely's temple.

Kiely parries the strikes from Torres easily there. Torres is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kiely to escape.
Torres is looking to take a break and control but Kiely is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Eddie Kiely showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
