Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hendry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Romanoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendry comes to the cage accompanied by poverty. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanoff throws a head kick that misses.
Romanoff throws a one two combo.
Romanoff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendry manages to avoid it.
Hendry fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Romanoff misses with a double jab.
Romanoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Romanoff , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hendry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Romanoff throws a right and a left that Hendry avoids nicely.
Romanoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hendry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hendry shoots in but Romanoff avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hendry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hendry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Romanoff defends it nicely.
Romanoff misses with the combination.

Romanoff closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Romanoff throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Romanoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hendry circles away quickly and effectively.
Romanoff fails to land with a series of punches.

Romanoff gets caught flat footed, as Hendry shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hendry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hendry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Romanoff looks gassed!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hendry is controlling the pace.
Hendry passes to side control.
Romanoff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hendry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hendry has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Romanoff !

Hendry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Romanoff is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hendry trying to control but Romanoff is having none of it.

Hendry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Romanoff is surviving well by controlling Hendry's body position as best he can.
Romanoff is squirming around, avoiding Hendry's attempts to control the action.

Hendry looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Romanoff wants to get back to his feet.

Romanoff is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Hendry locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Romanoff is forced to tap!
