PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tweety Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tweety Johnson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Jenkins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson.
Jenkins postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jenkins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Johnson wants to stand up but Jenkins has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jenkins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jenkins manages to end up in side control.

Johnson is stalling here. Jenkins is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Johnson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jenkins has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jenkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
