Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frej nord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frej nord looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum shoots in for a takedown but nord shows good takedown defense.

Magnum feints and as nord raises his hands in defense, Magnum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Magnum is refusing to be controlled, as nord sits in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

nord changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magnum tries to avoid it but nord manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magnum to the ground. Magnum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Magnum throws a strike but nord rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Magnum misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Magnum throws the left hand but nord avoids the punch easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Magnum goes for a takedown attempt but nord pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Magnum is looking for a triangle here but nord uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Magnum tries to bench press nord off him but nord keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Magnum's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Magnum throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Magnum tries to improve position but can't.
Magnum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with nord. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Magnum tries to lock up and control but nord gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Magnum is looking to improve his position but nord isn't that keen on the idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
nord can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Magnum is looking to escape.
