Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between boris the beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Britton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillip Britton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Britton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Britton throws a nice looking combination but the beast bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

the beast gets caught flat footed, as Britton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Britton drops back, looking for a kneebar! the beast looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. the beast looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from the beast!
Britton is looking for a sweep.

the beast is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Britton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

the beast is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Britton is just riding it out for now. the beast eventually gives up the hold.
