Phillip Britton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, boris the beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phillip Britton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Britton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Britton throws a nice looking combination but the beast bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Britton swinging wilding here.
Britton misses with a series of wild punches.

the beast gets caught flat footed, as Britton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Britton drops back, looking for a kneebar! the beast looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. the beast looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from the beast!
Britton is looking for a sweep.

the beast is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Britton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Britton gets back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Britton wants to get back to full guard.
the beast takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Still in half guard, the beast seems content to control.
Britton is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
the beast throwing shots but Britton is blocking nicely.

the beast is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Britton is just riding it out for now. the beast eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Britton trying to control but the beast postures up.

Britton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but the beast pulls his head out easily.
the beast trying to control the action but Britton is working from the bottom.
the beast thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
the beast moves in looking to clinch but Britton pushes him off.

the beast darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Britton slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
the beast is breathing heavily.

Britton looking for a triangle here. the beast is fighting it but it looks tight! Britton pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, the beast is tapping out - this one is all over!
