Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Segata Sanshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primo Marcello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanshiro comes to the cage accompanied by Sega Satan!. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcello fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Marcello is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sanshiro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marcello has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanshiro has managed to get both his arms back between Marcello's legs - danger averted.
Sanshiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marcello swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marcello crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sanshiro - the referee stops the clock and Marcello gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sanshiro. Marcello manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sanshiro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marcello stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sanshiro takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanshiro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
