Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Stuckler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuckler has chosen Vicarious by Tool as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashid Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Stuckler!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stuckler's guard.
Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Evans wanted to stand there but Stuckler had control of the position.
Evans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Evans stands up over Stuckler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Evans content to stall in guard here.
Evans throws and elbow that misses. Stuckler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Evans's guard. Nice move by Stuckler!
Stuckler stops Evans from standing up.
Stuckler forces his way into half guard.
Evans is refusing to be controlled, as Stuckler sits in half guard.
Evans blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stuckler.

Stuckler seems to be working for a kimura but Evans defends the submission attempt.
Evans wants to get back to full guard.
Evans trying to hold on to Stuckler's head to control him but Stuckler postures up.

Stuckler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Evans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position.
Evans is looking for a sweep. Stuckler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Stuckler stops Evans from getting back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evans tries to roll over but Stuckler keeps him under control.
Evans wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Evans dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Evans connects with a body shot.

It looks like Sean Stuckler has been cut.
Stuckler tries for a takedown but Evans circles away easily
and Evans counters with a big head kick but Stuckler shrugs it off.

Evans is breathing heavily.

Stuckler is in all sorts of trouble here.
Stuckler tries to lock up and control but Evans gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stuckler manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Stuckler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Evans pulls his head out easily.

Evans decides to stand up.
Stuckler takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Evans rushes Stuckler and presses him up against the ropes.

Evans breaks the clinch.

Evans feints and as Stuckler raises his hands in defense, Evans changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stuckler is trying to control the position but Evans postures up.
Evans throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Evans avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stuckler throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Evans gets to his feet. Stuckler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Evans is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stuckler's half guard.

Stuckler chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Evans can pounce on him.

Stuckler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Evans is one step ahead there.
Stuckler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Evans is controlling him.
Stuckler controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself.

Evans is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stuckler is trying to control the position but Evans postures up.

Evans stands and steps away. Stuckler gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Stuckler takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Evans tries to bum rush Stuckler with a series of wild strikes but Stuckler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Evans counters with a single leg into guard. Stuckler didn't expect that.
Stuckler keeping moving, preventing Evans from controlling successfully.
Stuckler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Evans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stuckler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stuckler is fighting off a takedown attempt but Evans is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Stuckler to the mat. Stuckler regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Stuckler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stuckler manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Stuckler's guard.

Well Evans has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
