Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fantastico misses with a looping left.
Fantastico tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Alves looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fantastico!
Fantastico is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastico bucks up and throws Alves to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Alves moves out of range as Fantastico strikes.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fantastico.
Alves dives in and grabs Fantastico's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fantastico pushes down on Alves's head and hops out.
Fantastico's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Fantastico duly obliges.

Alves jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fantastico walks away with a smile on his face. Alves gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Perseus Fantastico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Alves.
Alves looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alves throws a head kick that misses.
Alves moves forwards but Fantastico connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alves walks into a left hand.

Fantastico tries to clinch but Alves is having none of it.
Alves fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fantastico manages to avoid it.

Alves looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fantastico is fending him off so far but Alves persists. Nope, Fantastico circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastico tries to close the distance and clinch but Alves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alves avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Alves turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Alves manages to end up in side control.

Alves is working to tighten is grip on Fantastico's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fantastico has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Alves is really squeezing tight and eventually Fantastico passes out! Alves breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
