Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between AS Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jonny quest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

quest shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kane napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kane is breathing heavily.
Kane is trying to control quest's posture but quest avoids it.
quest is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kane's shoulder. That is not cool.
You can see the frustration on Kane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
quest works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Kane dodges the ground and pound from quest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kane looking to hit a scissor sweep but quest is one step ahead there.

Kane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
quest postures up and lands a big shot to Kane's brow.

quest blocks a head kick by Kane.

quest changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kane is not content to let quest control the position.
Kane tries to buck quest off but quest is having none of it.
quest moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
quest's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kane is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on quest's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

quest tries to stand and escape but Kane is controlling the position.
quest seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Despite being in the dominant position, jonny quest just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

quest closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

quest goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for quest but great work by Kane.

quest might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kane kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
quest is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
quest is looking to control Kane's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can quest avoid being mounted?

Kane is sneakily working for an arm triangle but quest sees it coming and defends easily.
quest wants to improve his position but Kane is controlling well.
quest is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

quest perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. quest gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

quest wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
quest stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kane swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kane is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
quest not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
