Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kieran Teece (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teece closes the distance and clinches.
Serra is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Teece gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Teece pulls Serra into guard.
Teece is trying to keep Serra in close.
Serra cracks Teece with a solid left hand.

and Teece counters by moving into the clinch.
Teece pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Teece bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Serra pushes Teece away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Teece gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Serra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Teece swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kieran Teece is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Teece closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
