Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Syman Omapoika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril Marian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyril Marian will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marian tries for a takedown but Omapoika sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Marian moves into the clinch successfully.
Marian is pressed up against the cage. Omapoika has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Marian down to the mat. Marian avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Marian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Marian gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Omapoika to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Omapoika postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Omapoika got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marian has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Omapoika has managed to get both his arms back between Marian's legs - danger averted.
Omapoika stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Omapoika is landing with some decent strikes but Marian is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Marian is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Omapoika has gone for a leg lock! Marian slips out almost immediately though and dives into Omapoika's guard.

That's time! Omapoika's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Marian seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Marian is looking to take a break and control but Omapoika is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marian is taking a breather. Omapoika says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Marian swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Omapoika is now in Marian's guard. A big mistake from Marian there, giving up the dominant position!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Omapoika accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Omapoika is looking to sinch up a triangle. Marian throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Omapoika's body to avoid the submission. Omapoika has instead reached around Marian's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Omapoika arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
