Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Weasley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bread Butter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Weasley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bread Butter!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weasley scores with a crisp jab that stopped Butter in his tracks.

It looks like Bread Butter has been cut.
Weasley tries to clinch but Butter moves out of range.
Weasley tries to clinch up.
Weasley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Butter was well out of range. Poor timing from Weasley.
Weasley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Butter throws a looping overhand right but Weasley ducks down to avoid it.
Butter closes the distance and clinches up with Weasley, looking for a takedown. Butter pushes Weasley against the cage but Weasley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Butter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Weasley - the referee stops the clock and Butter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Weasley. Butter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Weasley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Weasley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butter swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Butter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Weasley won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Butter prevents Weasley from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Butter seems to be working for a kimura but Weasley defends the submission attempt.

Butter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Weasley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Butter.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Weasley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A frustrated look appears on Weasley's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Butter jumps into guard, dragging Weasley to the mat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Weasley wants to pass the guard but Butter is keeping the position.

Weasley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Butter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Weasley, into his guard.

You get the feeling that Weasley really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bread Butter has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Butter jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Weasley is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Weasley and Butter has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Weasley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
