The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
James fails with the takedown.
James misses with a two punch combination.
JOE misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
James misses with a series of wild punches.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but JOE moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
JOE circles away from the clinch attempt.
JOE cracks a nice hook into James's ribs.
JOE connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Jack James has been cut.
James scores with a push kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A left and a right from JOE both land. Nice combination.
James has a takedown stuffed.
James is breathing heavily.
JOE shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
James scores with a three punch combo!

JOE lands a left and a right that send James crashing to the mat, dazed. JOE thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

James is rocked!

JOE shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and JOE slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! JOE lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
