Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, kenny davies!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
davies misses with a wild combination.
davies looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

davies throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rose was covering up waiting for the punch and davies finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rose looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
davies wants to control from the top but Rose keeps moving.

Rose kicks davies off and gets to his feet.

Rose shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. davies manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rose postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! davies is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rose, into his guard.

Rose is pulling down on davies's head. It's preventing any offense from davies, at least for the moment.
Rose is breathing heavily.

Rose looking for submissions from the bottom but instead davies passes into half guard.
davies moves into full mount! Rose won't be happy about that!
Rose is squirming around, avoiding davies's attempts to control the action.
Rose is just holding on here. davies manages to take his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
davies tries to keep control of the position but Rose is staying busy.
Rose covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Rose is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by davies.
davies trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, kenny davies just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rose drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
davies wants to sweep here but Rose controlling him for the moment.

davies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rose doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rose manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rose stays in close to davies's body and controls the position.
davies looking for a sweep. Not yet davies, not yet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

davies is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
davies looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
davies trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Rose drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and davies dives on top into guard.
Rose working a defensive guard but davies manages to pass into side control anyway.
You can see the frustration on Rose's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
davies tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rose misses with a takedown
enabling davies to counter with a crisp jab.

Rose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rose tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rose has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
davies struggling a bit here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
davies is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
davies manages to get back to half guard.

Rose is thwarting davies's attempts to control the position.
Rose knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for davies on the ground.
davies wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
davies doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Rose counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in davies's guard now.
davies can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rose controls the pace.

Rose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but davies manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rose has davies in his guard.

Rose tries to land a sweep but no joy.
davies is pushing down on Rose's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rose is fighting to maintain full guard but davies has managed to sneak the leg through.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. davies connects with a nice short shot to Rose's temple.

davies is trying for a kimura here. Rose looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! davies wins by kimura!
