Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalema Kirunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whisky Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirunda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Hellacopters - In The Sign of Octopus. Dan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "I'm a man" by Black Strobe. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Whisky Dan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirunda misses with a wild combination.
Dan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kirunda throws a low kick, looking for Dan's leg but Dan calmly moves out of range.
Kirunda will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kirunda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Dan tries to close the distance and clinch but Kirunda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Kirunda wants to clinch up but Dan keeps it at a distance.

and Dan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Dan shoots for a takedown but Kirunda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dan trying to control the position but instead, Kirunda has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dan into the cage.
Dan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kirunda just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kirunda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kirunda wants it to stay on the feet.

Kirunda throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dan counters with a head kick. That will keep Kirunda thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kirunda throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Whisky Dan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
