PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bajrang Jakhotia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mira slips a jab from Jakhotia.
Jakhotia swings for the body but Mira moves out of range.
Jakhotia tries to bum rush Mira with a series of wild strikes but Mira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mira defending well as Jakhotia loads up on a big left hand.
Mira fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jakhotia but Jakhotia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jakhotia stuns Mira with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jakhotia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mira.
Jakhotia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mira sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mira moves into the clinch.
Mira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jakhotia just stands there and leans against the cage.

Mira is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jakhotia is aware though and is defending well.

Mira isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jakhotia stacks Mira on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jakhotia!

Jakhotia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mira is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
