PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Acton!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Acton.
Acton finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Acton takes a swing at Creed's ribcage but misses.
Creed misses with an uppercut.
Acton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Creed swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Creed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Acton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Creed.

Acton moves into the clinch successfully.
Creed wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Acton has him pressed against the cage.
Creed is looking to control Acton's arms but Acton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Creed has his back to the cage.

Acton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Acton cracks Creed with an open hand slap.
Creed lands an overhand right.

It looks like Terry Acton has been cut.
Creed throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Acton stumbling backwards into the cage! Acton bounces back off the cage towards Creed, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Creed lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Creed celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
