Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Pemberton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr James Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pemberton shoots in but no luck this time.
Andrews tries to bum rush Pemberton with a series of wild strikes but Pemberton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Andrews misses.
Pemberton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Pemberton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pemberton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pemberton drops back looking for a leg! Andrews is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andrews manages to kick Pemberton off! Pemberton jumps back into Andrews's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pemberton wants to stand but Andrews is controlling his posture from full guard.
Andrews wants to stand and escape but Pemberton is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Andrews tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pemberton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Pemberton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Andrews's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Andrews duly obliges.
Pemberton is breathing heavily.

Pemberton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Andrews tries to kick Pemberton off but Pemberton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Andrews is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Pemberton stalling.
Andrews won't allow Pemberton to pass to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pemberton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Andrews counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pemberton's knee momentarily.
Andrews misses with a series of wild punches.
Pemberton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Andrews.
Pemberton closes the distance and clinches up with Andrews, looking for a takedown. Pemberton pushes Andrews against the cage but Andrews circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Andrews lands a glancing blow to the side of Pemberton's head.

Andrews keeping moving, preventing Pemberton from controlling successfully.
Pemberton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pemberton wants to control from the top but Andrews keeps moving.
Pemberton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Pemberton passes Andrews's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Pemberton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Andrews defends it well.

Andrews tries to kick Pemberton off but Pemberton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pemberton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pemberton moves into full mount! Andrews won't be happy about that!
Andrews trying desperately to get to his feet.
Andrews is wriggling around trying to escape.

Andrews has left one of his arms exposed and Pemberton doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Andrews screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
